Sisters but not twins. Fire agates and silver make a pair of super simple, slightly different sized earrings. I Love things that don't match exactly........creates a little tension that keeps people wondering.

Two great fire agates encased in sterling at one end and a bead at the other flank a quartz bead mimicking cracked glass.

A sterling chain completes the necklace.

12-011 Sterling Winter Twig Necklace

A walk through the bush in the frosty winter mornings with my sweet dog Chica uncovered natural beauty that I would have otherwise missed.

Grey winter branches, white with frost, withered and frozen berries, shimmering ice crystals...........these were the inspirations for this necklace.

A generous piece of recycled sterling is adorned with forged silver and beaded "twigs".  Various shades of pink and purple represent summer berries, frozen and hanging on, waiting for birds to pluck them. Ice crystals of opaline glass are sprinkled along the branches with the berries.

The whole piece is completed with a base metal large loop chain that is easy to wear. Its simplicity compliments the motion and chaoticness of the branches. A beaded toggle loops through an end of the main branch, securing it around the wearer's neck.

12-010 Amethyst Rough Nugget Pendant

 Two beautiful amethyst rough nuggets snuggle together in a sterling nest, captured by swirling sterling tendrils. The bale for this prison is the handle of an old forgotten sterling serving spoon. The last of the 3 pictures shows the back of the pendant where the tendrils meet.

12-007 Sterling and Quartz Necklace

This necklace was made in the typical beading style. The clear beads are quartz, as are the nugget and colored cubes. The rest of the necklace, including the chain, is made of sterling silver. The hook and eye and the focal piece are hand forged, and the nugget/cube piece is removable with the use of a small lobster clasp.

This necklace is 2 types of quartz......amethyst and clear.....in shapes of round, irregular, and tusks with a large faceted clear focal bead.        It is created in simple beading fashion with silver colored toggle closure.
